Position: Car wash attendant

Location: 8500 E. 21st Street., Indianapolis, IN 46219
Duration: 6+ Months
Responsibilities
Work schedule is 8-4:30 pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch. Work week is 37.5 hours.
Fleet maintenance support by routinely cleaning the exterior/interior of vehicles issued by Field Support Services (FSS).
Hand-wash the exterior of all FSS pool cars on an as‑needed basis, or at least twice a month.
Clean the interior of all FSS pool cars at least once a month.
On a quarterly basis, hand‑wax all FSS pool cars.
Assist FSS Installation in the preparation of FSS new/re‑issue commissions for issuance. On an as‑needed basis, hand‑wash the dirt and grime collected on new/re‑issued cars that have been sitting on the lot for an extended time.
This process is necessary in an attempt to protect the State Police’s investment.
Required Skills
High School diploma or GED required.
Valid Indiana driver's license.
