What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage import customs clearance processes and ensure timely submission of customs entries
Process international export orders and maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Coordinate exams/sampling and monitor FDA holds to ensure timely resolution
Review and verify accuracy of commercial invoices and maintain customs documentation
Communicate with cross-functional teams to support import/export operations and resolve issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry and as an entry writer
Minimum of 2 years’ experience with USHTS, Schedule B, and ECCN classifications
Knowledge of Partner Governmental Agencies such as CBP, FDA, and EPA
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Certification as a Certified Export Specialist (CES), Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), or Certified Import Specialist (CIS)
Experience with Dangerous Goods & Hazmat shipment requirements
Familiarity with SAP and GTS systems
