Excellent animal handling and professional customer service skills Strong knowledge of grooming techniques for all breeds of dogs and cats Ability to perform grooming services, including clipping, medicated and general cleansing, parasite control baths, pedicures, medicated dips and ear cleansing, as requested for each pet Ability to groom several dogs per day in a busy practice environment Maintain a proper grooming room, including but not limited to: cleaning cages, tubs and grooming tables; vacuuming and mopping the floor; cleaning clipper blades, scissors and brushes after use Recommend retail products that would aid in home grooming care of pets Skill, Knowledge, & Expertise
2 years of prior grooming experience Excellent verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service Must be familiar with standard cuts for all breeds Must be reliable, a team player with a positive attitude and must have a great work ethic Must maintain a clean and healthy environment for clients Perks of the Job
