Key Responsibilities
Mechanical, Hydraulic & Diagnostic Work
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, PTOs, aftertreatment systems, and electrical faults
Troubleshoot hydraulic systems: pumps, motors, and cylinders
Use diagnostic software (Cummins INSITE, CAT ET, Allison DOC, Detroit, etc.)
Perform accurate root‑cause diagnostics—not guesswork
Rebuild hydraulic components (preferred)
Optional: rebuild engines, differentials, and transmissions
Welding & Fabrication (Preferred, Not Required)
Welding steel or aluminum is a plus
Fabricate brackets, frame repairs, and structural fixes if skilled
Productivity & Work Ethic
Stay busy—clean, organize, assist, or request the next task
Maintain a proactive, self‑starting attitude
Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe
Teamwork & Communication
Communicate clearly about progress, problems, and timelines
Cooperate respectfully with Shop Manager and fellow technicians
Remain composed and professional under pressure
Documentation & Parts Handling
Complete accurate work orders with labor, notes, and parts
Follow all company protocols for inspections and repair tracking
Qualifications 4+ years of experience as a diesel or heavy‑duty mechanic preferred.
Strong diagnostic experience with diesel and hydraulic systems.Experience using computer‑based diagnostic platforms.
Must be able to rebuild hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and motors.
Engine or transmission rebuild experience is a plus.
Welding/fabrication ability preferred, not required.
High integrity, steady temperament, and strong personal discipline.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Self‑motivated—no micromanagement needed.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.
No formal education, license, or certifications required—just proven skill and reliability.
Schedule Full‑Time
Monday–Friday, with weekend work only when needed
Location On‑site at our shop facility (Palmetto, FL)
