
Sales Representative – Electrophysiology Devices (Hospital / Health System)
Job Overview You will serve as the primary field sales owner for our electrophysiology (EP) portfolio – including next‑gen PFA systems, steerable access sheaths, and mapping/ablation catheters – across assigned hospital systems and health‑system networks. You’ll build relationships with electrophysiologists, EP lab directors, cath lab staff, supply chain/procurement, and value‑analysis committees. Your objective: drive adoption of our EP solutions, expand case volume, and deliver on quota by translating clinical and operational value into health‑system contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a territory business plan to meet or exceed annual revenue targets for EP device products.
Identify, qualify, and engage key stakeholders across hospital systems.
Provide in‑lab clinical support, product demonstrations, and procedural training.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply agreements.
Collaborate with clinical specialists, marketing, and product teams.
Monitor competitive landscape and reimbursement trends.
Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasts, and pipeline activities.
Serve as a clinical and technical resource for hospital staff.
Travel throughout territory and support EP procedures as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, nursing, business, or equivalent.
3‑5 years of medical device sales experience within hospitals or cardiology/EP.
Track record of quota achievement in complex medical device sales.
Strong clinical aptitude and understanding of EP procedural workflows.
Proficiency with CRM systems and territory planning.
Willingness to travel and support early/late procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling EP devices (ablation catheters, mapping systems, access sheaths).
Familiarity with hospital procurement, GPO/IDN contracting, and value‑analysis committees.
Existing relationships within electrophysiology labs.
Background in biomedical engineering or clinical EP support.
Success Metrics
New hospital system accounts opened.
Case‑volume growth with assigned customers.
Contract wins with health systems.
High customer satisfaction and repeat utilization.
