Outdoor Environments Group, a leader in the design, creation, and construction of outdoor living spaces, is seeking a motivated hard-working individual to join our growing team. Responsibilities
Execution of property care maintenance service work including mowing, trimming, pruning, seeding, mulching, fertilizing, weeding, planting, watering, pressure washing, edging and other maintenance tasks as necessary. Assist Crew Leader with all phases of daily tasks as directed to ensure 100% on time delivery of all contracted work. Support crew by contributing to constant attention to detail, cleanliness of job sites, and preventive maintenance of all equipment. Adhere to and uphold all Company safety practices, procedures and policies. Perform duties as directed by Crew Leader in daily activities. Work safely in a team environment to produce high quality landscapes. Work 40-60 hours per week, weather permitting. Other duties as assigned. Requirements
Understanding of landscape construction, installation and maintenance obtained through previous experience in the green industry or a related position. Ability to lift 75 pounds and perform physical field work. Must have strong physical endurance as the position is labor intensive. Ability to communicate in English is extremely helpful but not required. Indiana driver's license preferred. Indiana Applicators License RT, 3A & 3B Pesticide License a plus! Degree in Arboriculture, Horticulture, Plant Science or equivalent work experience a plus. Ability to work independently with a positive attitude. Professional Mowing Experience Preferred. Basic Plant Identification is a plus.
