You’ll provide critical support that makes healing happen. We’d love to have you join us. Under the supervision of a Custodial Supervisor - Clean assigned areas, patient rooms, nursing station, ancillary rooms, exam rooms, procedure rooms, conference rooms, offices, hallways, corridors, public areas, etc. Operate vacuum cleaners, buffers, wall and window washing, shampoo machines and floor machines. Sweep, strip and wax floors. Perform isolation room cleaning. Perform high and low dusting. Clean vertical and horizontal surfaces using the approved cleaning solutions. They have knowledge in the correct use and storage of disinfectants, cleaning solutions, soap, detergents and floor waxes preferred. Salary Range:
$21.05 - 27.21 / hour Effective June 22, 2025, employees represented by the AFSCME Union will receive a minimum wage of $25.
Responsibilities
Clean assigned areas including patient rooms, nursing station, ancillary rooms, exam rooms, procedure rooms, conference rooms, offices, hallways, corridors, and public areas. Operate vacuum cleaners, buffers, wall and window washing equipment, shampoo machines and floor machines. Sweep, strip and wax floors; perform isolation room cleaning; perform high and low dusting. Clean vertical and horizontal surfaces using approved cleaning solutions. Adhere to proper storage and usage of disinfectants, cleaning solutions, soaps, detergents, and floor waxes.
Qualifications
Knowledge of proper use and storage of disinfectants, cleaning solutions, soaps, detergents, and floor waxes is preferred. Ability to operate cleaning equipment and follow supervision as part of a custodial team.
