The Prep Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting the kitchen staff in the preparation of meals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a willingness to learn new techniques and recipes. The Prep Cook will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards. Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, preparing meats, and measuring ingredients Assist in the preparation of meals, including cooking, baking, and grilling Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment Follow recipes and instructions from the Head Chef and Sous Chef Assist in the ordering and inventory of food and supplies Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation Adhere to all health and safety regulations Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow recipes and instructions Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Seniority level
