PJW Restaurant Group is hiring experienced Line Cooks at PJ Whelihan's Restaurant + Pub in Newtown Square, PA.
The base pay range is $16.00/hr - $18.00/hr, with actual pay based on skills and experience.

A friendly attitude, charismatic energy, and social personality are needed for success. Someone who takes pride in their appearance and presents themselves well. Ability to handle pressure in a high-volume atmosphere. A leader with confidence and responsibility. Line Cook Responsibilities:
Prepare items for cooking by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning, and/or marinating. Follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup. Know and comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules. Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area. Handle, store, and rotate products properly. Stock and maintain sufficient food levels at line stations. Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications. Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of products served. Assist in food prep during off-peak periods as needed. Close the kitchen properly and follow the closing checklist. Attend scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty. Line Cook Qualifications:
Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and dining room personnel. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 40 pounds. Ability to work in a standing position for long periods (up to 9 hours). About PJW Restaurant Group:
