Hallmark Cards is hiring a part‑time Field Merchandiser to work independently at local retail stores, showcasing organization, time management, and retailer relationships. The position includes restocking, inventory monitoring, and supporting seasonal resets and installations.
Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you'll collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed.
Salary and Schedule
Your starting pay will be $16.00 to $16.75 depending on skills and experience.
This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule, averaging 8–15 hours per week.
Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day engagement: Use a mobile device provided by Hallmark to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory across departments.
Holiday support: Provide additional coverage during peak holiday periods (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas), including potential weekend shifts.
Department resets: Participate in fixture installation, relocation, and card section resets; typically notified two weeks in advance.
Team collaboration: Support other merchandisers as needed within the network.
Physical Requirements Must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Must kneel, squat, walk, stand, and climb stairs or ladders as required.
Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
Fluency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Able to operate a hand‑held digital device for data entry.
Reliable Wi‑Fi access and internet connectivity.
Consistent transportation to and between assigned stores.
