We are seeking an experienced Automotive Painter to join our talented team at Bertera Collision. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive refinishing, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering top-notch results. As an Automotive Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and finishes to vehicles while ensuring quality standards and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas that do not require paint. Mix paints and other materials according to specifications and techniques. Apply paint to vehicles using spray guns and other painting equipment. Inspect finished work for quality and ensure that it meets company and industry standards. Repair imperfections in paint and finishes, such as runs, sags, or dust inclusions. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and operational procedures. Collaborate with collision repair technicians and other team members to ensure seamless workflow. Stay updated on the latest painting techniques, materials, and industry trends. Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions clients may have regarding paint jobs. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; completion of a formal automotive painting program is a plus. Proven experience as an automotive painter, preferably in a collision repair environment. Proficiency with spray painting equipment and techniques. Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver quality results. Knowledge of color theory, mixing, and matching paint. Familiarity with safety standards and practices in an automotive repair shop. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Benefits
