This continued success has created a need for a Fire Sprinkler Technician to work out of our Wall, NJ location.
Responsibilities
Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair various fire sprinkler systems with limited or no supervision.
Coordinate with contractors, customers, building maintenance personnel, and office staff to complete scheduled work and repairs.
Identify and correct code deficiencies and non‑conformance issues.
Read and interpret system blueprints, shop drawings, and inspection reports.
Maintain, repair, and replace sprinkler heads, valves, pipe supports, and related hydraulic system components as needed.
Demonstrate an exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
Maintain OSHA safety standards while performing work duties.
Qualifications
High school diploma required. Industry experience preferred.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong attention to detail.
Understanding of complex blueprints and solid written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with national fire codes.
Thorough knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and the necessary tools.
Ability to work in a wide variety of conditions, including heights up to 30 feet and adverse weather.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Experience with lift operations and OSHA guidelines.
NICET certification a plus.
