As a CDL Class A Truck Driver, you are responsible to safely operate tractor-trailer equipment (Drop and Hook) and maintain properly to transport material to designated location in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip & post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance of vehicle and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
One's home time is great with our 2/2/3 schedule (one works every other weekend). We are currently looking to fill night positions (6pm-6am).
Salary range: $24.00 - $28.00 Hourly
Hours per week: 40+
Duties and/or Responsibilities
Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods locally.
Conduct pre-trip & post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance of vehicle.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Maintain proper information in truck cab pouch.
Report information accurately and completely on daily timecards, truck cab information and other needed paperwork.
Maintain and support a safe and harassment free work environment.
Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, DNR, MSHA, Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental regulation compliance and attend required training.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written). Ability to read maps and navigate to new locations.
Must be self-motivated, team-player with excellent interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous and respectful toward others.
Ability to work with minimum supervision and recognize matters needing attention and initiate action on that recognition.
Minimum Qualifications
General education, grammar and arithmetic, GED or high school diploma or equivalent.
A CDL Class A (tractor-trailer) license.
Must have and maintain medical card and acceptable driving record and required endorsements.
