Cooks and prepares food for the restaurant, ensuring guests have a favorable dining experience. Responsibilities
Prepare all food items and maintain proper temperatures. Season and garnish food appropriately. Prepare soups and sauces. Keep the cooking area clean and organized. Maintain inventory and order food items daily. Ensure safety and security for employees and guests. Monitor and adjust performance based on local competition. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications
Ability to operate all kitchen equipment and appliances. Basic reading and writing skills. Knowledge of PPE and sanitation regulations. Creativity in cooking and food presentation. Ability to interpret production lists, menus, and orders. Accurate record-keeping skills. Minimum high school diploma or GED; culinary education or 1-2 years experience in a casual full-service restaurant. Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted. Ability to secure and maintain necessary licensure as required by regulatory authorities. Physical Requirements
Stand for long periods without sitting or leaning. Bend, stoop, and reach while carrying items up to 50 pounds. Work around high-temperature ovens and cold walk-in refrigerators. Stand and walk continuously during a 10-hour shift. What We Offer
