The solution combines patented technologies, dual-purpose microgrid designs, and end-to-end services. What You’ll Do
Perform skilled repairs of Volvo Penta Diesel Engines (16 L), Power Solutions International (21.9 L), Generac (21.9 L) and Marathon generator ends, and work with various voltage control and synchronizing equipment under supervision of senior technicians. Learn and utilize manufacturer-specific software to troubleshoot and diagnose engine and control system problems. Facilitate technical support and liaise with equipment manufacturers. Perform scheduled, preventive, or predictive generator maintenance tasks. Perform troubleshooting and repair tasks. Conduct periodic inspections to identify maintenance needs. Work in potentially confined areas with high heat, humidity, and cold. Follow company processes and procedures for verbal and written communications. Utilize available technology for communication, documentation, and research. Ensure safe operation of electrical equipment by enforcing company and industry standards, including LOTO and Dead Checks. Safely prepare, operate, and maintain motor vehicles for company business. Additional responsibilities may be added at the direction of management. Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Basic mechanical skills and engine operation knowledge; electrical experience is a plus. Open to training, direction, and continuous learning. Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with traffic laws. Successfully pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check. Pay attention to detail and be thorough in work. Computer skills to use software, databases, and automated systems. Flexibility: rotating on-call schedule; available to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Ability to stand for multiple hours, climb ladders, and lift 50 lbs safely. Integrity: work efficiently with or without supervision. You’ll Sweep Us Off Our Feet If
