Overview of the Lead Sales (Key Holder) Role You will inspire customers to express themselves in their home, bring the brand to life by helping them discover products that best suit their entertaining style, and drive sales by sparking connections and building lasting customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Create engaging experiences for customers by sharing expertise on enhancing your home.
Provide daily support to the management team by performing opening and closing routines, register functions, and back‑office procedures.
Provide supervision to ensure the store meets financial goals and associates provide world‑class service.
Ensure the store meets visual, replenishment, cleanliness, safety, and back‑of‑house standards during managed‑on‑duty shifts.
Effectively perform the Selling Captain role, serving as a role model for sales associates by prioritizing customer experience.
Maintain an environment where all associates are treated fairly, with dignity and respect, in accordance with our People First Philosophy.
Criteria
Effective communication, organization, and leadership skills.
Proven ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples.
1‑3 years of retail sales experience with shift supervision experience preferred.
1‑2 years of experience in home‑related design, visual merchandising, or stockroom responsibilities preferred (specialty retail preferred, but not required).
Physical Requirements
Must be able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
Full‑time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business.

The anticipated pay range for this role will be: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour.
