Position Summary Responsible for prompt, courteous service to restaurant guests; serving food and drink and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room.
Essential Functions
Take and serve food and beverage orders.
Record all sales using the appropriate POS system and follow all cash handling procedures. All guest payments are processed according to established procedures.
Ensure alcohol procedures are in place and notify supervisor of any guest incidents.
Completes opening and closing side‑work consistent with property expectations.
Provide the highest quality of service to guests at all times.
Perform all other duties deemed necessary by management.
Qualifications
Someone with an engaging and welcoming personality.
Someone who is descriptive and can sell.
Someone with 2–4 years of food service experience.
Someone with knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
Someone who can work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
Someone with a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests.
Someone with excellent communication skills.
