Responsibilities:
Repair vehicles utilizing a variety of techniques including welding, metalworking, refinishing, painting, and body alignment
Follow repair procedures and guidelines with utmost attention to detail and safety
Correctly diagnose and identify repairing opportunities for various make and model vehicles
Perform auto body repairs with minimal supervision and providing quality certification to complete each repair job to the highest standards
Accurately document all repair work performed on a daily basis
Review and analyze damage reports to determine appropriate repair procedures
Notify management of any defects or malfunctions found during the repair process
Continuously learn new techniques and procedures to enhance efficiency and performance
Follow safety procedures and guidelines and utilize PPE at all times
IDEAL CANDIDATE POSSESSES THESE ATTRIBUTES:
High School Diploma or GED
At least three years of relevant experience in auto body repair
OEM or I-CAR certifications preferred
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals
Excellent problem solving, communication and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license
