Job Description
Enlighten is looking for an experienced Product Owner to directly support operations and assist in growth strategy with special emphasis on JFHQ‑DoDIN and USCYBERCOM. The role will provide project management and DevSecOps support, training, and adoption of analytics and applications developed for cyber operations on the government‑owned Big Data Platform (BDP). Work is a hybrid role with some on‑site work in Fort Meade, MD, and occasional travel within the continental United States.

Establish, foster and strengthen relationships between the company and targeted government customers.
Serve as the lead for both data acquisition and analytic development and work to integrate production capabilities directly into the customers’ daily operations.
Function as the SME for the JFHQ‑DoDIN and USCYBERCOM operational BDP capabilities and work to operationalize them into the customers’ daily operations.
Provide excellent technical support to JFHQ‑DoDIN and USCYBERCOM users of the BDP and its applications, answering user questions and troubleshooting issues.
Lead the gathering of data and software requirements from JFHQ‑DoDIN customer leads and convey them to developers by establishing development roadmaps.
Understand our technology and capabilities and champion them accordingly.
Provide company leadership updates on project status, key customer engagements and overall assessment of the government’s direction and adoption of capabilities.
Function as the SME for the JFHQ‑DoDIN and USCYBERCOM customer landscape, establishing relationships with influential leads and influencing government decision‑making regarding data and software development.
Collaborate with Enlighten’s Customer Experience Group (CEG) to develop and implement development plans, operational roadmaps, and action plans for identified communities of interest.
Expand future opportunities by working with existing customers, identifying new market opportunities, and maintaining documentation in the company’s CEG pipeline tools.
Maintain updated knowledge of customer plans, programs, and general market intelligence.
Build an external network of solution partners and providers.
Collaborate with internal marketing and engineering departments.
Own the customer experience success from start to finish, working closely with development and engineering teams to ensure DevSecOps pipeline delivery dates track with customer targets and timelines.
Act as the focal point for pushing capabilities to the customer, ensuring awareness of relevant DevSecOps pipeline touchpoints for acceptance of updates, features, or capabilities.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Security Clearance: A current Top Secret U.S. Government level security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.
9+ years in DoD cyber, agile development, and/or big data with a B.A. in Business, a technical field, or related; or 7 years relevant experience with a Master’s in a related field; or a high school diploma or equivalent with 13 years relevant experience.
Prior government or military experience with MARFORCYBER, DCSA, DISA, Army Cyber, U.S. Cyber Command, U.S. Air Force (AFCYBER), or 10TH Fleet / Navy Cyber.
Direct experience managing complex technical projects and/or programs.
Understanding of budget practices and acquisition processes with the relevant organizations or relationships with those who do.
Strong computer skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with others, including public speaking.
Excellent interviewing skills, including active listening and empathy.
Participation in the full lifecycle of business development, including proposal support, staffing, opportunity identification, bid/no‑bid analysis, RFI/Market Responses, etc.
Excellent organizational and attention‑to‑detail skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel up to 20%, sometimes on short notice within CONUS.
Ability to work on‑site 3–4 days per week at the customer site in Fort Meade, MD.
Preferred Requirements
Experience with software engineering, cloud technologies, data engineering, and cyber security.
Technical background strong enough to determine system requirements and work closely with engineering and management—this is an asset but not required.
Previous BDP experience is a huge plus.
