Diehl Subaru of Massillon is seeking a skilled Automotive Express Service Technician to join our team in Massillon, OH. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a passion for automotive repair and customer service who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. As part of our service department, you will perform maintenance and repair services efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.
Responsibilities
Perform express maintenance and minor repair services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks
Diagnose vehicle issues and communicate findings clearly to service advisors
Ensure all work is completed accurately, safely, and timely to meet customer expectations
Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety and company protocols
Assist with inventory management and parts organization as needed
Collaborate with fellow technicians and service team members to achieve service department goals
Requirements
Proven experience as an automotive technician, ideally in express service or quick lube roles
Familiarity with Subaru vehicles and manufacturer recommended maintenance practices is a plus
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving abilities
Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
