Airgas is hiring for a Plant Manager in Amarillo, TX! We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

Manage the cylinder fill plant to ensure timely distribution of product to customers and branches. Train and develop assigned personnel.

Lead the deployment of Organizational Solutions.

Lead the administration, analysis, and synthesis of data.

Coordinate cylinder requirements with region branches.

Conduct timely and quality performance appraisals of assigned personnel. Recommend disciplinary action up to and including termination of plant personnel.

Analyze plant budget to identify areas in which efficiencies can be obtained and production costs reduced. Allocate operating budget.

Follow and maintain all FDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT requirements and regulations.

Required Qualifications

Associate’s Degree (A.A. or A.S.) or equivalent and minimum of five years industry‑related experience and/or training.

Three years of supervisory experience.

Must regularly lift up to 60 pounds and move more than 125 pounds with the aid of material‑handling equipment.

Valid driver’s license.

Valid employment authorization in the U.S. and does not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non‑immigrant visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior logistics experience.

Prior forklift experience.

Prior operational and production experience.

Prior SAP and Power BI experience.
