Why Consider this Job Opportunity: Competitive base salary and comprehensive compensation packages Opportunity to work with an industry-leading renewable energy venture Open PTO policy and flexible work hours Health benefits provided Opportunity to work with a transparent Executive Leadership Team What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Manage the full lifecycle interconnection application process, including LGIA application process, milestone, schedule, and deposit due dates Assess project-related tariff requirements and develop LGIA interconnection application packages for various utility-scale renewable energy projects Coordinate information exchange between technical staff and development team to ensure timeline objectives are met Review and analyze power system engineering and transmission planning studies Evaluate transmission interconnection system cost upgrades and collaborate with stakeholders on necessary changes to project development schedule Represent the company across ISO/RTOs nationwide to better understand the needs of key interconnection application stakeholders What is Required (Qualifications): Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering Experience managing full-lifecycle transmission interconnection application management and LGIA processes Knowledge of transmission interconnection ISOs and/or RTOs negotiations Understanding of electricity market policy and rules related to interconnection and transmission planning Working knowledge of high voltage EPC systems, including substations and transmission lines How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Working knowledge of utility-scale renewable energy operations Experience with power flow/load flow modeling calculations Strong communication and presentation skills
