We are looking for a skilled mortgage loan officer assistant to join our top-producing team and assist our mortgage loan origination officers. This position requires a unique mix of sales and customer service skills, plus the ability to manage loan files from beginning to end.

Responsibilities
Assemble loan documentation for verifications and underwriting, including loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and other mortgage application paperwork.
Handle all customer and in‑house inquiries about transactions to ensure a smooth process and excellent service.
Act as the primary contact between clients and our company, scheduling and conducting meetings to discuss follow‑up issues.
Check all loan package documents for complete accuracy and submit any discrepancies to the loan officer or loan originator.
Screen and make calls, book appointments, and provide administrative support as needed.
Follow up on customer and in‑house inquiries on transactions to provide superior customer service.
Qualifications
Local candidates only – relocation not provided.
Previous mortgage experience required.
NMLS license or training not required but desired.
Excellent customer service and communication skills; willingness to go above and beyond for customers and the team.
Understanding of different loan products, such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/fixed, and commercial loans.
Proficiency in MS Office; CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred.
Preferably 2–3 years of administrative support in a professional office or mortgage environment.
College degree in finance or banking preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
Highly motivated and goal-oriented with strong customer service and communication abilities.
Compensation $47,500 + bonus
