General Summary
The Production Assembly Technician performs essential assembly operations for manufacturing hose assemblies, custom bent tube products, and a variety of assembled components. Responsibilities include assembly, fabrication, testing, quality control, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
High School Diploma or GED
Previous work experience--assembly work preferred
Essential Job Functions Assembly & Fabrication
Assembles and tests high- and low-pressure hose assemblies according to specifications
Fabricates custom bent tube assemblies including bending, end forming and testing operations
Assembles valve stack assemblies per technical drawings and work instructions
Constructs custom panel assemblies, including valves, gauges, tubing and regulators
Transforms conceptual designs into assembled solutions
Quality Control & Documentation
Maintains accurate build records and completes job orders
Inspects assemblies for quality and completeness before delivery
Tests assemblies to ensure they meet required specifications and safety standards
Warehouse Operations & Safety
Maintains work area in a clean, organized, and hazard‑free condition
Follows all safety procedures and protocols to prevent workplace injuries
Adheres to written and oral instructions regarding daily tasks and job assignments
Supplemental Job Functions
Occasional customer visits to support field sales
Assists with corporate on-boarding and orientation programs as required
Perform other duties as assigned or requested
Working Conditions
Normal warehousing environment with regular (up to 100% of work time) exposure to noise, dust, office equipment, machinery, equipment and supplies
