Leasing Consultant - Luxury Portfolio in Jersey City
Join BNE Real Estate Group as a Full‑Time Leasing Consultant in vibrant Jersey City, NJ. This role brings you onto the team that manages the largest luxury portfolio in the market. You will engage prospects and residents, elevate their living experience, and help advance the community’s occupancy goals.
We are looking for a candidate who has at least one year of leasing experience, a valid New Jersey real‑estate license and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
About the Role You will foster strong relationships with residents and prospective tenants, ensuring they feel valued and engaged. Your responsibilities will include driving leasing and renewal activity, honoring occupancy targets, and supporting new leasing‑center initiatives.
Schedule Saturday‑Wednesday 10:00 am–6:00 pm, with Thursday/Friday off.
Qualifications
High school diploma (college degree preferred)
1+ year of property‑management or leasing experience
Valid NJ real estate salesperson license
Strong interpersonal and customer‑service orientation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi
Excellent organization, time‑management, and independent work skills
Knowledge of propertymanagement rules and regulations
Ability to work overtime and maintain punctual attendance
Compliance with company policies and procedures
Responsibilities Marketing
Meet leasing goals and achieve budgeted occupancy
Reduce vacancy loss by encouraging immediate move‑ins
Maintain market knowledge and competitor analysis
Present an inviting leasing center and ensure curb appeal
Track activity, generate reports, and share data with management
Leasing
Qualify prospects, coordinate tours, and collect guest informationli>
Ensure Fair Housing and company policy compliance
Respond promptly to phone traffic and maintain call logs
Follow up daily to preserve a strong closing ratio
Complete lease paperwork and verify applications through credit checks
Assist residents with move‑in, orientation, and lease renewals
Administration
Inspect and prepare new apartments 3 days prior to move‑in
Maintain resident files and general office files
Distribute accurate reports to managementAttend required meetings and complete additional duties as directed
Resident Relations & Safety
Handle service calls and respond to resident concerns
Assist in resident functions planning
Ensure compliance with safety rules and correct unsafe conditions
Benefits Work on a competitive salary range of $50,000–$55,000, and gain exposure to a luxury real‑estate environment. Additional performance‑based incentives are available upon reaching leasing targets.>
