We’re seeking a skilled
Senior Home Lending Advisor
to join our high‑energy Chase Home Lending team in San Antonio. In this role you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the loan life cycle, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements while marketing and promoting Chase’s financial products.
Job Responsibilities
Coach and mentor the branch team by providing training on products and services.
Work closely with bankers, meeting with customers and introducing new clients to bankers for additional products and services.
Collaborate with your team to create an outstanding customer experience utilizing centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross‑sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing efforts.
Develop a strong partnership with the assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations within footprint territories, and function well within formal and dotted‑line reporting relationships.
Build a reputation as the internal and external mortgage expert and maintain good relationships with customers.
Exhibit consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and the customer’s financial needs, goals, and circumstances.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
Knowledge of the real estate market in the local area.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
FHA/VA sales experience.
Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills.
Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment.
Legal & Compliance This position is subject to Dodd‑Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for loan originators. Employment is contingent upon a review of criminal history, credit, NMLS information, and other relevant criteria. Felony convictions within the last seven years disqualify candidates. Continued employment requires compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd‑Frank and SAFE Act requirements, including NMLS registration and annual renewal.
