Competitive hourly rate + Commission & Bonus Potential ($18 - $20 per hour) We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven, and detail-oriented Leasing Professional with lease-up experience to join our growing team at our multifamily community in Columbus, Ohio. As a Leasing Professional, you will be on the front lines of the lease-up strategy—driving traffic, converting leads, and delivering a top-tier experience to prospective residents from first contact through move-in. Leasing & Sales Performance:

Greet prospects warmly, build rapport, and showcase the community through guided tours. Respond promptly to leads, inquiries, and follow-ups through phone, email, and digital platforms. Convert prospects to leases by presenting available apartments and lease terms persuasively. Maintain a closing ratio consistent with high-performance leasing standards during the lease-up phase.

Marketing & Outreach:

Assist in the execution of community-specific marketing plans to drive traffic and awareness. Participate in outreach initiatives, open houses, and promotional events to attract prospects. Maintain thorough knowledge of local market comps, pricing trends, and amenity offerings.

Application & Move-In Coordination:

Guide prospects through the application, screening, and lease signing process. Ensure all lease files are complete, accurate, and compliant—including renter’s insurance, ID verification, and other required documentation. Coordinate with the Maintenance and Management teams to ensure units are move-in ready. Assist with preparing welcome materials and conducting move-in inspections.

Resident Relations & Retention:

Serve as a point of contact for new residents, providing exceptional customer service from day one. Encourage lease renewals and promote community engagement to enhance resident satisfaction. Address concerns promptly and work with the team to resolve service requests and issues efficiently.

Administrative & Compliance:

Accurately input data into property management software, track leasing activity, and maintain up-to-date records. Ensure full compliance with Fair Housing laws and internal policies in all leasing activities. Assist the Property Manager with reporting and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 1–3 years of experience in apartment leasing, with demonstrated lease-up success preferred. Strong understanding of Fair Housing laws and multifamily compliance standards. Proficient with leasing platforms, CRM tools, and property management software (e.g., Rent Manager, Yardi). Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities a plus. Energetic personality, positive attitude, and a passion for customer service. Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed during lease-up. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license preferred. Physical Requirements

Ability to walk the property, tour units, climb stairs, and work both indoors and outdoors. Capable of lifting and moving up to 25 pounds. Compensation & Benefits
