Our growth is your opportunity for growth! We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Tax Associate to join our team in Manhattan. You will provide services to predominantly US-inbound international businesses in the manufacturing and distribution industry. What you will do:
Prepare and review Federal and state corporate and partnership tax returns
Assist with the preparation and review of income tax provisions for corporate taxpayers under ASC 740
Act as a point of contact for clients, answering ad-hoc tax-related inquiries, handling notices, and addressing client requests
Manage multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of work while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality
Perform technical tax research on a variety of Federal, state, and international tax topics
Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations; perform in-depth tax search, deliver timely and high-quality services that exceed client expectations
Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to staff associates and interns
What you need to bring:
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in federal and state income tax, including experience in public accounting
BA/BS degree in Accounting, or Master's degree in Accounting/Taxation
Experience in the manufacturing and distribution industry
CCH Axcess tax experience
Excellent research, writing and communication skills in English
Process-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Demonstrate responsibility, take ownership of tasks, and collaborate effectively as a team player
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong corporate tax compliance and tax provision experience
CPA license or similar certification

PAY RANGE IN NEW YORK CITY METROPOLITAN AREA Base Pay Range:
$70,000/yr - $90,000/yr
