Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Functional Consultant to join our team. This role involves providing expert‑level functional consulting for Workday HCM modules such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Absence, Talent Management, Time Tracking, or Payroll. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in Workday implementation or support projects, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as a Workday subject matter expert for functional areas like Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Recruiting, or Payroll.

Partner with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into Workday configuration.

Configure and maintain Workday business processes, security roles, condition rules, and calculated fields.

Assist in Workday implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and post‑production support.

Conduct unit testing, support UAT, and resolve issues.

Deliver training and documentation for end‑users and administrators.

Troubleshoot issues and provide day‑to‑day support to HR and Payroll teams.

Collaborate with Workday technical consultants on integrations and reports.

Key Skills & Qualifications

3–7+ years of experience as a Workday Functional Consultant.

Strong knowledge of at least two Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Talent).

Experience with Workday configuration, business processes, and calculated fields.

Workday certification in one or more modules (preferred but not mandatory).

Hands‑on experience with Workday reporting (Advanced/Composite reports is a plus).

Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Experience with Agile or iterative project methodologies is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

Nice to Have

Experience with Workday Studio or Workday Extend (for hybrid roles).

Familiarity with Workday Prism, People Experience (PEX), or Adaptive Insights.

Previous experience working in a consulting or client‑facing role.
