Lead and guide their crew, providing clear instructions, delegating tasks, and ensuring that work is carried out according to plans and specifications.
Enforce safety regulations, ensure the proper use of safety equipment, and create a safe working environment for all crew members.
Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project requirements.
Involved in scheduling work, managing materials and equipment, and ensuring that the crew has the resources needed to complete tasks efficiently.
Communicate with project managers, supervisors, and other stakeholders about project progress, potential problems, and other relevant information.
Involved in training new workers, providing guidance to less experienced crew members, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise on the job site, whether related to safety, quality, or productivity.
