Sr Product Manager, Asset Enhancement Services (AES) (Remote Eligible, U.S.)

Job Description Summary
The Sr Product Manager, Assets Enhancement Services (AES) will develop the strategic roadmap, short‑ and long‑range revenue growth plans, and competitive strategies for the AES product line on a global basis for the existing nuclear fleet of reactors, including next generation nuclear reactors. This manager is expected to stay current on domestic and international operational/regulatory issues and trends such as next generation fuel design, License Renewal (80‑year and even 100‑year) and Extended Power Uprates to develop strategies and commercial opportunities. This manager is responsible for cultivating commercial opportunities from customer inquiry through product delivery. This will require collaborating across functional teams to deliver scopes of work that support a total plant outcome for the customer in the nuclear power generation field. This manager will direct the interface between joint ventures, partnerships, or other commercial arrangements related to this product line. High levels of Commercial judgement are required to achieve outcomes required.
Job Description Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee the total product life cycle utilizing a strategic roadmap (or Growth Product Playbook), interacting with Engineering, Finance, Project Management, Regulatory, Sourcing, Sales and Marketing to drive product platform improvements, differentiation, penetration, and market expansion
Develop growth and competitive strategies for the product line on a global basis
Develop concepts for new products by collecting and analyzing internal and external customer feedback, market research, emerging technology, and competitive trends
Directly own the product portfolio and drive the process of new product introduction and final launch into the marketplace
Work to develop and execute launch plans to bring new product introductions to the market and sales account managers by working closely with the Commercial Operations, Product Marketing, Technology and Sourcing teams
Provide leadership to support potential significant emergent customer issues
Establish and deliver short and long‑term sales growth and profitability improvement targets
Develop and coordinate execution plans to drive improvement
Interact regularly with commercial leaders, directing them on high priority opportunities
Work closely with cross‑functional teams on price exception levels of authority, pricing targets, and execution of product line pricing policy
Work with nuclear industry groups to maintain a deep knowledge of current product and market developments, in addition to identifying opportunities for new market penetration.
Coordinate and monitor strategic direction of agreements and ensure sub‑projects are aligned to outcome defined with established agreement metrics
Manage customer relationships at multiple levels of organization
Work closely with Finance on planning and execution
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science discipline
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Engineering and/or Services discipline
Minimum of 5 years Nuclear Safety analysis/Accident experience
Minimum of 5 years experience in proposal preparation and contract negotiations
Minimum of 5 years experience in power plant design and system knowledge
Ability and willingness to travel domestic and internationally as required. Up to 10%

The preferred work location for this role is at the GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GVH) in Wilmington, NC. but highly qualified candidates (US Based) remote candidates will be considered. (Relocation assistance provided)

Desired Characteristics
Strong interpersonal skills, especially in coordinating, communicating with customers.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in Engineering and/or Services discipline
Minimum of 10 years of management / leadership experience
Minimum of 10 years of nuclear safety/accident analysis experience
Masters Degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Business)
Experience in Nuclear Plant Operations
Proven leadership capabilities with ability to motivate others and achieve results
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Strong Project Management / Presentation / PC skills
Experience with product commercialization via NPI tollgate process
LEAN Certification or equivalent quality certification
Experience with project management, project set‑up, risk identification and mitigation strategy development
