Job Description:
Oversee tax compliance for a global portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate filings across multiple jurisdictions.
Lead tax impact assessments related to financial reporting, mobility, and transfer pricing in partnership with senior tax leadership.
Review domestic and international tax returns and supporting work prepared by external service providers.
Manage relationships with external tax advisors in coordination with internal stakeholders.
Address complex technical tax matters, conduct research, and communicate conclusions clearly to senior management.
Evaluate potential tax implications of entity activities and structural considerations.
Manage tax audits and responses to regulatory inquiries.
Partner with Finance and Accounting on tax planning, implementation, and execution.li>
Serve as the primary point of contact for all tax-related matters for the portfolio.
Oversee tax provisions, estimates, and payments in collaboration with Finance.
Requirements / Qualifications:
12+ Years minimum working at a CPA firm, hedge fund, or family office
Investment product knowledge
Extensive experience preparing and reviewing foreign entity tax returns, including operating businesses, investment entities, and philanthropic entities with both foreign and US filings.
Preferred experience with private equity funds.
5+ years of process and people management experience with oversight of tax compliance process, including resource allocation and budgeting.
