We’re looking for a highly experienced and entrepreneurial
Senior Audit Manager (with Tax Exposure) . This is a dynamic role ideal for someone who brings well-rounded public accounting experience and enjoys both the variety and challenge of client-facing work in assurance and tax. This position is expected to grow into a Partner role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities Audit & Accounting Responsibilities
Lead, support and manage audits, reviews, and compilations for a variety of clients
Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP and GAGAS
Understand and contribute to the firm’s Quality Control system
Assist clients with day‑to‑day accounting, month‑end close, and reconciliations
Evaluate internal controls and provide recommendations for improvements
Work with clients across industries such as healthcare, real estate, tech, manufacturing, not‑for‑profit, and more
Tax Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for entities including partnerships, S‑corps, and C‑corps (including some international clients) as well as individual tax returns.
Assist in tax planning and compliance across various jurisdictions
Support clients with sales tax, multistate, and international reporting requirements
Leadership & Internal Development
Mentor and manage accounting staff and seniors, providing technical training and professional development
Contribute to process improvement and firm initiatives including quality control
Support business development efforts and identify opportunities for growth within existing and new client relationships
Grow into serving as primary advisor for a portfolio of clients in a range of industries
Qualifications
CPA required
15+ years of experience in public accounting
Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and tax law
Proficient in accounting and tax software (CCH ProSystem fx, CCHEngagement, QuickBooks, MS Office, Excel, etc.)
Excellent communication skills and client‑facing confidenceOrganized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple engagements
Eager to learn and grow in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment with unlimited opportunities.
This position operates as part of a US East Coast‑based team, with typical working hours aligning with EST to facilitate effective collaboration. We offer flexibility in managing your schedule to maintain a healthy work‑life balance while meeting business needs.
We are excited to invite talented individuals to join our dynamic team! This position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
