Start Your Journey with Midas Hospitality: We are seeking a hands‑on, energetic Task Force Director of Sales to join our team. The Task Force Director of Sales will report directly to the CCO and be responsible for executing Midas Hospitality standard operating procedures to assigned hotels, including supervising, monitoring, developing and implementing all sales and marketing strategies in multi‑branded hotel.
What You Will Be Doing:
Provide property support by delivering Midas standard operating procedures during property DOS vacancy, training and other support needs
Shift share to hotel by measure of the STR Report and other sales/revenue tools.
Create and implement long‑ and short‑term marketing strategies and action plans to maximize sales and profitability in rooms, catering, food and beverage, and the overall operation
Direct the sales activities of the hotel to achieve budgeted goals and gain RGI.
Supervise and monitor the execution of all hotel‑originated advertising programs to generate maximum consumer awareness and sales
Record all sales activities in Delphi or related system
Assist GM in hiring, training and monitoring of on‑property DOS
Conduct outside sales calls, prospecting calls and site visits as required
Conduct weekly one‑on‑one meetings with GMs and Regional Sales Director
Ensure all Midas S&M SOPs are in place and executed
Manage the sales operation of the hotel to achieve goals
Prepare and execute the hotel's quarterly Sales Enhancement plans
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and segmentation goals
Provide Weekly Reporting to VP of Operations
Participate in assigned properties' weekly revenue meetings when available
Enhance the property's community image and stay abreast of competition, new developments, and sales methods and techniques in the hotel industry to maximize profitability.
Conduct and/or attend meetings to maintain favorable working relationships among company employees and promote maximum morale, productivity, and efficiency.
Keep General Manager and VP of Operations fully and promptly informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
Monitor and appraise the performance of subordinate staff on a timely basis.
Assist with company‑wide initiatives, SOP, blitzes, etc.
The Ideal Candidate:
Must have experience in multi‑brand and multi‑unit hotel sales
Live near a major airport
Ability to travel up to 80%
