Citi's FX business is seeking a Director level Salesperson to join their Institutional FX Sales team.
Job Description
Be a producing member of the Institutional FX Sales team
Responsible for covering a portfolio of Institutional Clients (Asset Managers and Hedge Funds)
A significant contributor to the team’s CV
Offer full range of FX products/services with a focus on FX products in a macro environment
Advise clients on trading strategies, hedging foreign exchange exposure, providing Global Macro insights and thought leadership
Together with Sales, Trading, business and functional partners, he/she will help lead our effort to be the industry leading coverage team and trusted advisor to our most important clients
The successful candidate will be expected to protect our clients and the franchise through a relentless commitment to control and governance built on the highest standard of personal ethics and responsibility.
Responsibilities
Actively cover a portfolio of Global Institutional clients (and back up clients covered by the desk when needed)
Work closely and form strong relationships with their desk, global coverage partners, across product and trading
Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients at multiple levels of the organization
Coordinate thought leadership resources for the desk
Implementation of the broader strategy for the Institutional client segment
Communicate regularly on all aspects of the business; results, market themes, successes, issues to desk head, global coverage partners and any other relevant stakeholders
Developing and mentoring junior talent
Staying on top of the regulatory and industry changes and competitive landscape
Adhere to and cascade all FXLM supervisory training and tools to assist in creating a culture of responsibility to our clients, our shareholders and each other.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in the Foreign Exchange Hedge Fund Industry
Strong communication skills
Extensive knowledge of the Leveraged and Asset Management industries
Extensive knowledge of our front to back office processes
Global Leveraged client relationships
Exceptionally strong derivatives knowledge and experience
Proven product and solutions skills
Ability to work effectively with various managers, stakeholders and product and functional partners
Proven track record of successful Leveraged FX client coverage.
Education
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred.
We offer a competitive salary range of $170,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year.
