Lucasfilm Animation Ltd., the creators of the Emmy award-winning animation series “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” and the highly successful animation series “Star Wars Rebels,” “Star Wars Resistance,” “Star Wars: The Bad Batch,” and “Tales of Series,” is looking for a Production Coordinator who reflects the innovative spirit, creative talent, production excellence, collaborative mindset and passion for great filmmaking that defines Lucasfilm Ltd. This role is considered Hybrid, which means the employee will work onsite in our San Francisco office and occasionally from home. This position requires someone to be located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Production Coordinator will provide administrative support to the VP, Animation Production with day‑to‑day coordinating tasks within the pre‑production, shot production and post‑production departments on multiple animated projects. What You’ll Do

Provide support to the VP, Animation Production with assistance to enable them to complete their work in a timely manner, including managing calendars/schedules and adjusting meetings to accommodate priorities, arranging domestic travel, and procuring/coordinating necessary items for international travel. Prepare, submit and track expense reports for the VP, Animation Production as well as other senior staff members as requested or assigned. Assist with conferences and speaker engagements in the form of scheduling, arranging travel for out‑of‑town guests, booking conference rooms, ordering meals and catering, and coordinating logistics such as entering guests into visitor kiosks and escorting guests. Provide administrative back‑up to the production team, including populating and tracking internal notes within a proprietary database, keeping tracking reports up‑to‑date, and facilitating distribution of milestones across all departments. Package and ship crew gear and any other materials as needed. Order inventory, maintain, and distribute office supplies appropriately. Assist with various event planning and coordination, including driving to complete production‑related errands and off‑site work. Complete special projects as needed or requested. What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s Degree in film, art, theatre, communications, or related field, preferred. 2+ years of experience, preference in Animation Production and/or executive support experience. Demonstrates a proactive and positive approach to assisting others. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work with diverse personalities and work styles. Capable of working independently and as part of a team; high level of initiative, flexibility and confidentiality. Ability to establish priorities and multi‑task efficiently within a high‑pressure environment while meeting strict deadlines. Requires excellent administrative skills including word processing, strong working knowledge of GSuite, Word and Excel; project management software experience is a plus. Proven ability to manage conflict resolution and difficult situations with professionalism. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Detail‑oriented and effective at processing information accurately (e.g., transactions, scheduling). Strong organizational and project management skills. Must have a valid current CA driver’s license, a car in good working order, and a clean driving record. The hiring range for this position in San Francisco is $64,600 – $83,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
