We’re hiring an Account Executive to join our growing Hive. In this role, you’ll work across multiple clients and projects, helping advocacy organizations, nonprofits, and companies communicate effectively and mobilize their audiences.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, isn’t afraid to dive headfirst into a policy brief or a social media calendar, and can pivot between strategy and execution without breaking a sweat.
What will you be doing?
Manage and support client relationships across public affairs and advocacy campaigns
Draft and implement both paid and organic social media campaigns
Coordinate digital projects, including web development and design efforts
Develop reports that highlight impact and insights for clients
Write memos, blog posts, and briefing materials on complex policy and communications issues
Build relationships with stakeholders and influencers in the advocacy space
Craft compelling content for newsletters, social platforms, and websites
Stay on top of industry trends and apply best practices in digital and public affairs strategy
Skills
2-4 years of full-time experience in communications, advocacy, or a related field
Excellent writing skills—whether it’s a tweet or a talking points memo
Experience in managing client accounts or projects in a fast-paced setting
Comfort with tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and team collaboration
Familiarity with social media platforms and paid digital campaigns
Bonus points for experience with tools like Quorum, EveryAction, MailChimp, or similar
A genuine interest in public affairs, policy, and community engagement
Compensation The annual compensation for this role is between $55,000-$70,000, commensurate with experience.
