Executive Chef — Tapestry Bistro & BarSan Francisco Design Center | SoMaTapestry Bistro & Bar, located inside the iconic San Francisco Design Center, is seeking a visionary Executive Chef to lead a design-inspired, chef‑driven culinary program. This role oversees menu innovation, kitchen operations, financial performance, team leadership, and guest experience across bistro service, private events, and cultural programming.What You’ll DoCreate seasonal, modern menus aligned with sustainability and plant-forward principlesLead recipe development, tastings, costing, and plating standardsOversee daily kitchen operations and ensure excellence in food qualityManage food and labor costs, inventory, and vendor relationshipsEnsure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirementsRecruit, train, and mentor a high-performance culinary teamCollaborate closely with FOH, operations, and leadership teamsRepresent Tapestry as a culinary ambassador during events and client interactionsWhat You Bring5+ years of progressive culinary leadership, including 2+ years as an Executive ChefProven success developing menus and leading kitchen teamsStrong operational, financial, and organizational skillsKnowledge of sustainability, nutrition trends, and modern techniquesServSafe Manager certificationHands‑on experience with health department inspectionsStrong communication and leadership skillsCulinary degree or equivalent experienceAbility to work evenings, weekends, and event schedules as neededThis role offers a balance rarely found at this level: daytime-focused operations, predictable events, and a design-forward environment that sparks creativity.Infuse Hospitality, part of the Phoenix3 Collective portfolio, provides culinary and hospitality solutions for corporate workplaces, specialty venues, and the activation of mixed-use spaces.
