R26\_0000000033Built on meritocracy, our unique company culture rewards self-starters and those who are committed to doing what is best for our customers.**Brown & Brown** is seeking an **Employee Benefits Account Executive** to join our growing team in **Minneapolis, MN**Working with Arrowhead Programs’ Chief Administrative Officer and assigned Profit Center’s Leadership teams, be responsible for the overall development, function, and implementation of operational excellence and best practices while mitigating E&O exposures.**How You Will Contribute*** All responsibilities that fall within the Account Manager role.* Proactive development and execution of client benefit strategy.* Proficient level of compliance, benchmarking, renewal & marketing, reporting & analytics, and able to perform these functions with little guidance from the team lead.* Independently or in partnership with Team Leader, leads client meetings and presentations.* Coordinates onboarding of new clients.* Strong knowledge of and relationships with vendors.* Delegates tasks, training and onboarding as appropriate.* Monitors and recommends opportunities for client revenue enhancement.**Licenses & Certifications:*** Must obtain and maintain active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License**Skills & Experience to Be Successful*** Minimum of 4 year degree or equivalent work experience required* 5+ years employee benefits experience with a thorough understanding and knowledge of employee benefits* Proficient with MS Office Suite* Strong mathematical and analytical skills* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Ability to work independently and make accurate decisions and demonstrate good judgement.* Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.* Must understand basic underwriting principles, the mechanics of self-funded plans and PBM’s* This position may require routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle.
