
Interior Designer
– Selldorf Architects, Union Square, New York, NY
Selldorf Architects is an international architecture and interior design firm. We are currently seeking an Interior Designer for full-time employment.
Responsibilities
Manage multiple interior design projects in a fast-paced environment.
Prepare design presentations, renderings, material samples, and custom furniture drawings.
Develop suitable interior aesthetics for high-end residential, museums, galleries, and commercial projects.
Select furniture, fabrics, and materials; coordinate with vendors and clients for approvals.
Oversee procurement, purchase orders, and budget management, including international shipping and customs.
Maintain project timelines, generate invoices, and provide regular status updates to the Interior Manager, Principal, and clients.
Assist with project installations and coordinate deliveries.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related discipline.
At least 5–6 years of experience in interior design, architecture, or related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Studio Designer; experience with Rhino, Enscape, and Adobe Suite.
Strong conceptual design skills, problem‑solving abilities, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
Business acumen and ability to manage budgets and procurement.
Knowledge of international shipping, customs duties, and taxes.
