Responsibilities As a member on the Product Development team, you will be the primary responder to consumer complaints from Departments of Insurance, Better Business Bureaus and other channels as directed by our member companies. This role will ensure proper tracking and coordination with our Claims Complaint team. Complaints are a time‑sensitive transaction and the ability to work effectively is critical. In addition, you may be asked to assist in providing technical, tactical and analytical assistance to the team, for both new property products and maintenance of existing ones.

What You’ll Be Doing

Respond to Formal Department of Insurance /Customer complaints, after research, with oversight of the Compliance Lead. Help triage complaints to ensure timely and thorough responses are provided.

Help maintain compliance email mailbox, logs and reports.

Interact within SageSure support areas to secure necessary information or documents to respond and resolve appropriately and thoroughly.

Identify, document, and report compliance vulnerabilities to the Compliance Lead. Help implement and track required remediation measures.

Communicate effectively and professionally to our member company contacts to resolve complaints and meet required deadlines.

Assist the Product and Underwriting team in compliance or underwriting related audits or reviews.

Support identification, analysis and implementation of new regulations and laws.

Synthesize complex information and prioritize key insights into clear, concise summaries.

Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Customer service experience.

Strong communication skills, especially strong written skills to produce a professional response to Department of Insurance complaints.

Ability to remain calm, positive and focused in a high pressure/high workload environment.

Solid analytical, problem‑solving and reasoning skills.

Self‑starting and time management skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Willingness to learn.

Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of related experience.

2+ years of underwriting experience.
