A Talascend client is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a long-term contract role based in Newark, DE.
Hybrid role (3 days in office/2 days work from home) | Non-exempt role
Summary of Responsibilities
Responsible for study, design, specification, and services related to electrical systems including power generation, power systems performance and control, cabling and wiring, lighting, motor control centers, communication systems, grounding, lightning protection, heat tracing, etc.
Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
5-20 years of professional working experience
The candidate must have a complete understanding of electrical system design
Experience in the chemical sector or similar industries.
