What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead implementation of patient-centric models involving physicians, clinics, and hospitals
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Centers of Excellence and academic institutions
Provide education and support to healthcare providers for rare disease management
Execute strategic business and account plans based on market conditions
Navigate complex hospital settings to access targeted healthcare providers and stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications)
BS/BA degree AND 8+ years of sales experience in biotech/pharmaceutical sales, including 5+ years calling on prescribers of specialized products
Proven launch experience in complex and competitive environments
Demonstrated sales performance with quantifiable accomplishments in specialty pharmaceutical or biotech markets
Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory environments and market access fundamentals
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for frequent travel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Master's degree preferred AND 6+ years of relevant experience, or PhD with 4+ years of experience
Experience in rare diseases and prior experience with Key Accounts and academic institutions
Previous start‑up or market development experience
Endocrine experience is strongly preferred
Proven ability to plan, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify business opportunities
