Provide vision, leadership and drive process changes within the Distribution functions (sales, inventory, procurement, etc.) and related processes. Participate in JBPCO and Business Unit strategy planning activities, acting as the functional leader in analysis, requirements development, design, documentation, and testing for all distribution module related enhancements and changes. Collaborate with functional representatives to develop simplified/lean process improvements or operating practices that best utilize the systems to improve quality, increase productivity, and support business goals. Develop peer, cross-functional & cross-BU relationships to maximize best practice sharing. Ensure timely completion of project tasks within the functional area by directing activities of others while maintaining individual project responsibilities. Develop functional training and ongoing functional support, including troubleshooting and the development of “super users.” Act as the functional change agent by creating a sense of purpose to meet business goals and leading by example. Own issue/risk identification, escalation, resolution and communication with the project team and functional management. Ensure conformance to JBPCO system architecture, methods, standards & practices and promote their creation. Analyze the business unit’s competitive position in the use of technology relative to industry best practices.
