Positions Supervised: Concrete Crew

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:30am to 5:00pm, Saturdays likely during peak season. Hours and days can vary based upon Owner/GC.

Company Overview: Elite Surface Infrastructure (ESI) is a growing company based in Englewood, Colorado, operating along the Colorado front range since 1998. ESI is one of Colorado's largest construction companies, offering services including Underground Utilities, Milling, Asphalt, Paving, Grading, Concrete, and Earthwork for Infrastructure Projects in commercial, municipal, and federal sectors.

Position Summary: Oversees and manages all aspects of concrete paving operations, including supervising concrete crews and operating a concrete slip form paving machine. Responsible for maintaining professional relationships with customers.

Essential Functions:

Schedule and supervise daily activities of concrete paving personnel, including preparing timesheets, progress reports, and managing changes impacting costs and schedules.

Order materials and equipment for projects.

Coordinate with scheduling to ensure proper manpower and equipment availability.

Ensure concrete work conforms to plans and specifications.

Perform pre-mobilization checks and set up for paver mobilizations.

Manage quality control to meet standards.

Operate a concrete slip form paving machine efficiently and with quality.

Supervise safety standards for crews.

Read and interpret plans and specifications.

Work alongside crews, operating equipment or performing general labor.

Calculate quantities of concrete and materials needed.

Discuss and resolve construction issues with stakeholders.

Maintain valid driver's license and qualify for company auto insurance.

Meet FMCSA requirements to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (no CDL required).

Qualifications:

Safety-conscious, detail-oriented, organized, reliable, and responsible.

Self-motivated with initiative and ability to work under pressure.

High School diploma or GED.

Clean driving record, ability to pass background and drug screening, and access to federal and state facilities.

Ability to wear PPE and work in outdoor weather conditions.

Physical Demands: Includes standing, walking, sitting occasionally, frequent reaching, climbing, squatting, and lifting various weights. Must be able to wear PPE and work in outdoor conditions.
