
Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. The role is responsible for profitable growth of the commercial business through customer retention and growth. The candidate will partner with the GM to manage team members, bring expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, source from multiple suppliers, and direct drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Position is full‑time.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain commercial customer relationships
Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
Provide day‑to‑day supervisory support for team members
Collaborate with GM on coaching and developmental needs for team members
Dispatch drivers ensuring delivery standards are met
Maintain commercial stocking programs
Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers
Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns
Maintain commercial credit accounts
Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

ASE P2 certified or ASE ready equivalent

Ability to source from numerous places including special order, FDO, second source, etc.
Ability to multi‑task and remain organized
Strong organizational skills
Effective communication, listening, and problem‑solving skills
Use Microsoft software effectively (Word, Excel required)
Understand commercial profitability concepts, competition, market opportunities, and customer prioritization
Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of prior automotive parts experience preferred
Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions
Formal or informal experience leading teams, including supervising daily tasks and working together to achieve goals
High school diploma or GED
Ase certification preferred but not required
Physical Demands Predominantly walking or standing. Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Must be able to talk, hear, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment Typically inside; occasionally outside with exposure to weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. Noise level usually moderate.
Position is eligible for sales commission based on individual or store performance.
