How you will make an impact: We are seeking a dynamic Director of Sales (on-site, in-person) to lead our sales efforts and drive occupancy in our beautiful Independent and Assisted Living community—exceeding budgeted targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.
A key focus of this role will be to lead the team in selling and successfully launching our new cottage product, creating excitement in the market and building strong relationships with prospective residents and families. You’ll guide the sales team through effective strategies, provide compassionate follow-up, coordinate seamless move-ins, and represent the community at both on-site and off-site events.
The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with a passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (salary exempt). Some evenings and weekends may be necessary; however, weekend rotations and holiday shifts are not required. Participation in the Weekend Manager on Duty rotation (every 6th weekend) is required.
Experience:
Minimum four years of consultative/high-touch sales experience, preferably in senior living.
At least two years of supervisory experience.
Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures related to staff and organizational operations.
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to make effective and persuasive presentations to management, public groups, and boards.
Knowledge and experience using sophisticated CRM technology (Salesforce preferred).
Proficient in Microsoft 365.
Effective team-building and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and motivate others.
Understanding of hospitality, first impressions, and customer-focused service excellence.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
Critical thinking skills.
Hospitality or customer service background.
