Global Business Development - Technical Sales

AMTRACO is a global holding company headquartered in Franksville, WI, managing shared services such as HR, IT, and Finance for its operating units. The company owns four distinct units:

EPSI

– a distribution company serving the surface finishing industry worldwide.

STM

– a manufacturer of pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes.

FAST

– a distributor of tapes and related products for framing, architectural, signage, and trophy markets.

SBM

– a commercial real estate firm involved in buying, developing, and leasing properties.

Job Summary

Devise and implement strategies to enhance the company's and pressure-sensitive adhesive customers' growth.

Develop and maintain client relationships to generate business opportunities.

Identify expansion opportunities and utilize commercial management skills to capitalize on them.

Manage existing accounts ensuring high-quality service.

Responsibilities

Negotiate with clients to maximize profit margins.

Provide regular updates on project progress to the Sales Manager.

Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.

Maintain reports on budgets, expenses, and revenues.

Manage commercial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Handle key account management.

Develop strategic pricing and margin management strategies.

Expand into other industries to grow markets.

Lead the E-Commerce strategy.

Coordinate with Operations to ensure raw material availability and timely shipments.

Work with Operations to competitively quote orders.

Required Skills and Experience

Experience in Business Development.

Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Familiarity with project management.

10-15 years of experience in the pressure-sensitive adhesives industry.

Experience managing a CRM system.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Leadership experience.

Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field.

Ability to work under pressure and independently.

Strong relationship-building skills with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
