An Ultrasound Technician who excels in this role: Recognizes, manages, and rehabilitates injuries to professional, amateur and recreational athletes. Provides techniques for prevention of injuries and instructs/trains on safe exercise techniques. Prepares athletes for practice or competition. Evaluates and manages injuries and determines whether a referral is necessary. Maintains a medical file on each athlete and acts as a liaison between the physician and the athlete. Implements treatment and rehabilitation programs under the supervision of a physician. Develops conditioning programs for injured and noninjured athletes. Why join us

Highpoint Health - Winchester with Ascension Saint Thomas serves the communities of Southern Middle Tennessee with comprehensive, high-quality care. The recent rebrand reflects a continued commitment to clinical excellence, compassionate service, and enhanced regional collaboration. Highpoint Health - Winchester with Ascension Saint Thomas is a 157-bed facility that includes 131 licensed acute care beds and 26 skilled nursing home beds. It offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services supported by a diverse medical staff, including an ICU, a Geriatric Psychiatry Unit, an Acute Inpatient Physical Rehabilitation Unit, a Skilled Nursing Unit, Sleep Lab, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, five Operating Rooms, and two Endoscopy Suites. Diagnostic imaging includes MRI, CT, PET/CT, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and X-ray. The 13-bay Emergency Department sees more than 15,000 patient visits annually. Highpoint Health - Sewanee with Ascension Saint Thomas is a 41-bed facility offering 21 general acute care beds and 20 skilled nursing beds, with a 4-bay Emergency Department serving more than 5,000 patients each year.
