Pennoni . Responsibilities
Oversee the professional supervision / management of Survey & Survey Mapping projects to achieve company goals, including profitability, safety, quality, and operational excellence. Prepare legal descriptions, easement descriptions, and estimates of survey needs/projects. Conduct boundary, ALTA, and topographic surveys (as part of survey projects and in support of engineering projects). Prepare plans and construction layouts. Schedule field crews while ensuring project deadlines are met. Establish strategies to expand the department within the market area. Develop and maintain public & client relationships. Work in the field as needed. Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed. Basic Requirements
High School Diploma (or equivalent). 8+ years of professional experience working in Field / Land Surveying. Must possess a Valid Driver’s License (as work in the field is required). Preferred Qualifications
Completion of relevant Surveying training; active Survey credentials in DE (e.g., completing PS and/or FS exams to qualify for PLS or Surveying Intern certification) is preferred. Management and/or Project Management experience is preferred. Proven expertise with modern surveying methods, best practices, and technologies. Proficiency with relevant technologies/tools (e.g., CADD, Total Stations, HDLS, GIS); experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, RTS (Robotic Total Stations), GPS, and Leica Geosystems hardware & software is preferred. Exposure to MicroStation, Bentley OpenRoads, and/or Faro High-Definition Laser Scanning equipment is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially MS-Excel. Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision. Proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments.
